World AIDS Day – December 1
World AIDS Day is observed on 1 December each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to create awareness in the fight against HIV (Human Immuno Virus), show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died. World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day and the first one was held in 1988.
WHO (world Health Organization) estimated more than 35.3 million people are living with HIV including around 3 million children. Its is one of the most important health issue. The World AIDS day observed for reminds the people HIV not gone away.
World AIDS Day is an opportunity for you learn about HIV and spread HIV to people. The main purpose is to create awareness between people. To educate how HIV is transmitted, how it can be prevented and give respect to HIV affected people. World AIDS Day is also a great opportunity to raise money for NAT (National AIDS Trust). Its need to remember the importance of raising awareness of HIV all year round.
