Breakthrough! 3 Earth-like planets discovered

An international team of scientists from MIT, NASA and university of California have discovered a trio of Earth-like planets suitable for life outside the solar system. The planets orbit an ultracool dwarf star, ‘only’ 40 light years away, and are likely comparable in size and temperature to Earth and venus. Othere factors like cloud cover and geothermal activity could tip the scales toward habitability as well.
