China constructs the biggest dam in Tibet
China began the construction of Suwalong hydropower project in Tibet with an expenditure of over US$ 3 billion. This project touted to be the biggest in Tibet, will provide electricity to china’s eastern region. The project built at mangkam country in Tibet and Batang country in Sichuan province has a capacity of generating 5400 gigawatt hours of electricity yearly will be completed in 2021.
