J&K government moves SC seeking exemption from NEET

The Jammu and Kashmir government plans to move the Supreme Court requesting to exempt the state from the National eligibility cum entrance Test (NEET). The government argues that they want to continue their own established process of recruiting students to medical courses. They said considering the state’s  special status, it should be exempted from the rule. The apex court will be hearing the case on Tuesday.
