Not trading, serving public interest: BCCI to SC

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) clarified to Supreme Court that it was not trading or running any kind of business, instead it was serving in public interest under the rule of law. A senior advocate Gopal Subramanium, appointed amicus curiae by the Apex Court said, ‘no one is above the law and BCCI is also a subject matter of law’.
