Shashank Manohar elected as ICC Chairman

Former BCCI president, Shashank Manohar has been elected unopposed a International Cricket Council’s first independent Chairman. He will serve a two-year term beginning with immediate effect. Manohar on Wednesday resigned to the post of president of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as the ICC’s rule book does not allow its chief to be associated with any national cricket board.
