Trade unions oppose minimum wage hike

Trade unions on Thursday opposed the government proposal to hike minimum wage of unskilled workers to Rs 12000 per month, saying it should be at least Rs 15000. Unions expressed their disagreement at meeting of Central Advisory Board, which advices the centre and the states on matters regarding minimum wage.
