US rejected Indian products citing adulteration

MoS for Commerce and Industry, Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday said that over the past 5 years, the US health regulator has refused entry of 12012 Indian products citing reasons including adulteration and misbranding. She added that the government has taken steps to tighten rules regarding labeling and pre-export inspection. The minister said that standards and regulations have been given emphasis.
