ISRO develops TWTA technology for payloads

Traveling Wave Tube Amplifier (TWTA) is used for satellite communication, probes and inter-spacecraft communication links. ISRO indigenously developed the TWTA for space borne payloads. The tube consisting o Electronic Power conditioner is a complex multidisciplinary technology controlled by interaction of microwave with electron beam under ultra high vacuum.
